Based in Sharm el Sheikh, the ships Costa Allegra and Costa Marina are offering cruises for the winter season 2010/11.
Each seven day cruise will include three days in the resort of Sharm el Sheikh, with scheduled stops at Adabiyah and Safaga in Egypt before going on to Aqaba in Jordan and Eilat. The ships will then return to Sharm el Sheikh.
In addition, the company has announced that its newly launched ship, the Costa Deliziosa is offering a 100 night cruise around the world departing from the port of Savona in Italy on 28 December 2011. The ship will sail from Savona via the Caribbean and the Panama Canal to Los Angeles.
She will then travel to Singapore stopping at Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia. The return leg to Savona is via Thailand, calling at various stops along the route including Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, the Red Sea and Egypt.
For both the summer and winter cruises, Costa Cruises is introducing new destinations in the Mediterranean. Cruisers can enjoy Valencia on the seven-night trip on Costa Magica, and there is the opportunity to travel via a high speed train link to Madrid.
The company is also offering three ships from South America in winter 2010/11, with departures from Santos, Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires to the South America destinations of Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
The new 3,780-passenger Costa Favolosa is joining the fleet in summer 2011. All of the new routes and destinations are listed in Costa Cruises’ 2011 brochure which has now been released worldwide.
